There’s a nature walk in this hill station known by the name of Camel’s Back Road; the name has been derived from a rocky outcrop that has the shape of hump of the camel. Then there’s Gun Hill where apparently a cannon was made use of to call out midday. This was followed for many years here. You can use a cable car to reach Gun Hill that starts from the Mall Road. Located in the Himalayas, above Mall Road, is St. Mary’s Church, which is considered to be the oldest Christian church. This church is getting restored currently. The much-visited Company Garden too is a great tourist attraction in Mussoorie that has a huge variety of plants and flowers on display.
Climate
Being located in the mid-altitude Himalaya, the hill station is said to have a quite a fair subtropical highland climate. Summers here are warm and humid and the months of July and August witness rains. Mussoorie even experiences snowfall during the months of December, January, and February.
